Let me introduce you to your new favorite hobby! This session includes an introduction to the postcrossing community, help registering for the forum, a take-home instructional zine for future reference, and all materials needed to collage or color a custom postcard to send to a recipient abroad.

The Postcrossing forum was created in 2005 to connect people across the world through fun postcards — for each card you send, you receive one back from a random postcrosser somewhere else in the world. In this session we'll get you signed up for the forum, explain the exchange cycle, then spend the remainder collaging your own custom postcard, with tips on pens, avoiding mail-processing pitfalls, and how to increase your chances of your card being favorited.
